Our Process and Technical Safety Group are looking to add a Senior Process Engineer to their growing team here in St. John's, NL! 

As the Senior Process Engineer, working within a multi-disciplined onshore Engineering Department, you will be required to conduct studies and complete detailed process design work related to the modification and maintenance of offshore oil and gas installations.

• Liaising with other disciplines through work development; investigating, advising, and resolving complex design and field engineering problems.
• Reviewing, interpretating, designing and analyzing process equipment and systems, including process simulation and system analysis, prepare technical reports, design drawings, and specifications.
• Preparing technical reports, design drawings and specifications.
• Conducting debottlenecking studies, equipment sizing and selection.
• Supporting procurement, fabrication, and construction efforts including through bid evaluations, communication with suppliers, documentation review, and support to offshore execution.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Current registration with PEGNL as a P. Eng.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• Significant experience in a brownfield project or industrial environment.
• Solid engineering knowledge of process design codes and standards.
• Competency in process analysis software such as HYSYS, OLGA, and FlareNet or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of the development of sustainable energy sources would be an asset.
