Project Engineer - Simulations & Animations

We are now looking for a Project Engineer - Simulations & Animations with a work location in Stavanger.

Build simulation scenes using both Unreal Engine 5 and Unity based platforms of technical installations such as offshore platforms, vessels and onshore process facilities for further simulations with physics. Produce and explain 3D animations explaining findings/scope. Effectively host simulation workshops with projects and clients, independently and/or together with senior personell, with a proactive and solution oriented mindset.

Tasks:

• Build scenes and develop asset library in Unreal Engine/Unity based tools
• Produce 3D-animations of marine environments and machinery
• Host simulation workshops with project team and external clients, effectively communicating to and between stakeholders
• Investigate new technologies and assist in further developing the departments deliverables and technical competency

Education/Experience:

• Experience with gaming, mechanical/marine engineering and/or architectural modelling, as well as knowledge with gaming platforms such as Unreal Engine 5/Unity is preferred.
• Master/Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical education with relevant experience is preferred
• Ability to uphold good customer relations independently
• A commercial mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High ethical standards and willingness to adhere to company values

Preferred Software skills :

• Unreal Engine
• Unity/Pixyz
• Competence in 3Ds Max, Navisworks, VRay, Adobe Creative Cloud is beneficial but not required
• Competence in coding languages such as C++/Python is beneficial but not required
